Thanks, as always, for the selections paco. You seem to be showing no concern at all after Morrow's last start. I've been reading other threads by Jays fans and they are concerned that his arm may be showing signs of tiring. They say he's reaching a point in the season where he's never thrown this many innings before and his fastball is only hitting the low 90s. What is your opinion of that last start vs. Oakland -- 80 pitches, 4 IP, 4 H, 2 ER -- I know that's not exactly getting clobbered, but I'm curious as to why he would have been pulled so early in a game after 9 days off if he wasn't tiring? His outing against TB on Aug 8 was brilliant -- we all know that -- but then he missed a start, and then came back to face Oakland in the game I highlighted above. That stat line just doesn't seem to make sense for a guy coming off 9 days rest. Maybe he was out of rhythm, but why would the Jays have taken him out after 4IP? This whole thing just seems to mirror the Strasburg situation, where he missed that scheduled start, then came back and just wasn't the same for his next two outings. Would love to hear your input.
