Well if not stats then what else do we have in baseball. There is definitely a pattern here. Was looking at other stats for this game and most do seem to point to the angels. I'd like to hear both sides though, cause of course I want the action. Rays are the only game I got in today, long long night of drinkin with my bud stalled my gamble

I know that and trust me thats not the only reason im goin' with the angels, its a big one but not the only one. like pac i wouldnt put alot on a bet if i wasnt confident, thats not saying i will win by any means, but my (gut) and my handycapping abilities lead me to beleive the angels have this one in the bag.

Besides the starting pitching stats...minny is the call. They are the better team and they are at home. They just lost and stats say they win after a loss

Over from 8-8.5 is twins 21-23 and angels 23-18. That's not overwhelming but not bad. With both offenses showing life I would take the over before I took the under though

im taking minny tonight...i see a lot of stats being thrown out and one that i have talked about before is how jered weaver is a bad 2h pitcher statistically in his career..that has proved wrong so far this 2h but i think tonight is where we see it..minny 1x and really thinking about an over play

There's a small advantage on Minn.. In game 3's after a game 2 loss they are 10-5 LAA after a win in game 2 is 9-9.. Minn's run's per are almost a whole number higher when at home vs a right and after a loss vs a right compared to LAA with Minn at 5.4 compared to 4.5.. While Baker has had trouble against LAA his entire career going 1-7 you have to take into account that all of those were on the road except one.. The team is 8-4 at home when Baker pitches to 6-8 for Weaver.. Baker has given up 34 runs in 72 innings at home while Weaver has 42 over 81 IP.. That averages down to roughly 3 runs over 6 IP per game for Weaver and 3 runs over 6 IP for Baker.. In this situation the starting pitchers are completely equal with the hitting being the thing that divides it by almost a run.. Both bullpens have been average but equal also.. With Minny at home with the advantage in runs produced and the pitching being equal the numbers suggest Minny comes out on top.. Minny has also won 4 of the last 5 and for those of you who take it into consideration the ump has favorable numbers to Minny also with 7-0 for the home team last 7 times he's been an ump for a Minny game..
