Sorry if I keep hitting this same point -- about the futililty of aggressive base running. But I believe this is the second time Andrus got thrown out trying to steal second with two outs, both times bringing an inning to an end. Rangers also had a runner thrown out trying to make it home instead of sticking on 3rd and putting himself in good scoring position. I agree with Billy Beane. Do not trade or risk bases for outs.

He's all about SABR stats. I like to steal 2nd with 2 outs I'm all about trying to manufacture runs when you have only put up 2 for the game and might have the other team on the ropes.
