start wagering to get your feet wet. you'll find that when betting the -1.5 that you always get screwed by the hook. same goes with betting the +1.5 except instead of being screwed by the hook you're saved by it. it doesn't seem like much but the +.5 in baseball is huge

The dog doesn't have to win by 2, they have to lose by less than 1. They go in 1.5 runs ahead, so a loss by 1, they actually win by .5. That's why you get worse odds.

Hey guys this game was exactly like the yankees and rangers game last night.When you look at the ML for the rangers last night it was somewhere around -160 if i remember correctly. The rangers RL though was +130. That is a big discrepancy between the two. If you looked at the Giants ML today it was hovering around -185, yet the RL was +. In a normal situation, the RL would be somewhere around -120 or so. Hope nobody lost on the RL with the giants and had them in a straight parlay.

if the padres win by 1 I win with RL PIT +1.5 -130. The only other bet would be SD -200 ml. I would rather pay -130 than -200 on SD

You can also do a -1 on any team, which also reduces the juice and pushes with a 1 run win obviously.

Well yeah, if you feel SD won't win by 2. Perosnally, I'm on SD -1.5 +110. Let's see how it plays out.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but that still doesn't stay in line with a HR there scoring 4. It's not like the run scored before the ball went out of play, so following the HR logic, it should be a double, and 2 should score. IMO.

I like the Pads today too, but they are playing the pirates whom they've already beat twice this series. The 3 game doesnt really matter that much. Plus tomorrow they are starting their series against SF which is a huge series in the division. I dont see them losing though so GL.
