imo there is no reason to like detroit,

some stats:

From the 6 games against tampa bays, they've all lost them. its a 0-6 for detroit.

The last game that Garza pitched against detroit(Scherzer) Garza won them.
Also 7/27july Verlander pitched against tampa bay and detroit lost that game aswell.

Just wanted to share this information with you for your consideration.

Good morning everyone -- sh*tty-ass day yesterday -- congrats to everyone who hit the Angels late...I was at Nationals Park watching Strasburg get lit up like a Christmas tree and missed the play

I see that paco's on the Tigers (3x) today -- sheesh...I'd feel a lot better about that play if they looked like they were still playing for something, but the last couple games of theirs I've seen, it looks like they've given up. I may play it, but it won't be for 3x.

Also, there's a sh*t-ton of people on the Cards today -- personally, I think this game may be unbettable. First, it's do-or-die time for Cinci if they want to prove to themselves and the Cardinals that they are a legitimate contender. So they have the motivational angle, plus, they get their ace on the hill today and that bodes well for them. After getting embarrassed last night, you would think they'd be ultra-pumped for this game today. The problem is, we don't know anything about this team's character. This is the latest they've been in a race in several years, so we really don't know how they're gonna respond in what is really a must-win situation. If they lose today, the Cards have the advantage down the stretch of knowing they can take the Reds whenever they want. And in addition to the unknown, they have to face Wainwright who, even with his road struggles, still has the ability to pull one out anytime he pitches. So I tend to think that all these things kinda cancel each other out, and make the game a no-play. If you put a gun to my head, I would lean CIN, but would prefer just to play OVER.

I think better opportunities present themselves today, specifically HOU with Wandy at home at a good price, and OAK, a team that is outstanding in day games. Anybody have any other input?

I'm Riding SAN DIEGO RunLine -1½ (+110) again tonight. This just seems like a logical "No Brainer" by which is a CANNOT FAIL PLAY. Also a Strong Consideration on Florida MoneyLine (+107). Florida annihilated Washington's Ace "The Stras" yesterday with Outstanding hitting providing substantial Run Support for Sanchez. I'm supremely confident the Marlins shall continue to hit the Nats mount on the clutch. The risk is about 60-40 here, but we're all gamblers on this thread. Best of Luck today Guys and Gals.

Given your info & further research on this match up, my advice is stay away from this one. Tension is high after yesterday's incident. Moral for players on both teams is mixed madness. The pitching duel is unpredictable. It'll be a close one at the plate. Best of luck to the Shakers & Bakers here.

yea, FF is first five innings. I usually play the FF +1/2 when you have two pretty good pitchers going. I believe arroyo has just a good a chance if not better than coming out pitching a gem at home. Especially early. If its tied after 5 I still win. On the bad sad one home run can kill it. I like my chances in this game.
