#42878If I'd given you the Astros down 4-2 in the 8th, would you have taken it LB?Originally posted by lakerboyHUH. The sharp money was on Houston, they own the cards in St Louis and had won 5 straight. No sane sharp layed the wood on the cards tonight.
This is a fluke. St. Louis was the play.Comment -

#42879sharp's wouldn't bet a fav 5 minutes before the first pitch. They jump on it early so they can get the best line possible. Maybe they had a little on the fav when the lines came out and a little on the dogg.... hedging betsOriginally posted by No coincidences
Why the 5 cent moves in StL's favor both at the start and right before the first pitch?

#42880I'm guessing your book is sportsbetting.com. If so, you really do need to find another book. 5 Dimes has much better baseball lines. I hardly ever make a baseball wager on sportsbetting anymore. If you sign up with 5 Dimes, get their free reduced juice sign-up option. You get even lower juice for making your wagers online.Originally posted by DCI need to get a back up book. My book has been down since this morning for "yearly maintenance". Said it would be back up by Monday afternoon, then evening....Still says will be back by Monday evening. And of course I would have been up 700 so far today had I been able to place my bets. FVCK

#42881sportsbetting.com. I have an account with bet us, but I caught them playing with my lines last football season and I swore I would never use them again. They were inflating my lines on all the favorite by 1/2 to 1 point. They were giving others better lines at the exact same time as my sucky lines....Originally posted by broadway6what book do you use DC?

Try out 5dimes. That's what i use. It's only a pain when you have to email or fax them copies of your passport and valid check, but you might have to do that everywhere? Paco uses wagerchief and says good things about them.Comment -

Dont do it then much either. It is only good for the NBA. In NFL they move lines to make you take the opposite of squares. Look at how many times the colts werent the play last year but they almost always covered.Comment -
