The -175 is too prohibitive for me to take COL today. There's no reason to pay that for any pitcher makeing his first start of the season in Coors Field.

Stl / mil have a couple young pitchers in today. Garcia may get destroyed (beat out a average bullpen guy for the 5th spot) and with a couple teams that can hit I think the o/u is low at 8.5. Yeah, public plays suck but I burned myself on that one yesterday. Had the Tigers for big, realised everyone else and their dog did too, popped in LB's thread and bought back a big chunk of my bet.

I'm thinking I'm just going to go Costanza style for the next couple of days until I get my mojo back - ignore the voice in my head that says to fade whatever play everyone else on SBR is backing and start being more confident with my dogs picks in the NBA. Stuff is screwy at the moment - too early in MLB to sort much out and NBA is an absolute joke.

Off topic - but how friggin cool is it that LakersDude is so close to your house???? Such a small, degenerate gambling world we live in.

I'm not sure on this one. It seems like they set it low to bait you into taking the over knowing everbody is going to look at Z & Harangs last starts. Based on that the over looks nice. I can't see Big Z having another shit outing like last time plus he has done well against the Reds in this very park in the past. The one that worries me is Harang. I'm not taking the bait. Maybe I'll regret it. We'll see soon enough.

Another one that looks fishy is the total in Wash/NYM. It opened at 9 & dropped to 8.5 with heavy public money on the over. Both pitchers past matchups suggest a strong over play so why the drop? I'm leaning hard on the under as well. Seems too easy set at a 8.5. Any thoughts on this one?
