Mama mia was filmed in Skiathos which is a half hour ferry boat ride from my family's city of Volos. Been there many times. There is a beach on that island that appears to have sand with gold flakes in it... It sparkles in the sun. I hope in the future to go Skiathos and meet you, even if I prefer mountains (Dolomites), but greek islands as Skiathos are very very beautiful.
