Caracalla, I have a question regarding your recommended money management technique and betting units. I have read different money management approaches in this forum, but I respect your intelligence and I'd like to know what technique you employ. Do you always risk one unit or do you structure your bets to always win one unit? If 1 unit = $100, and I am betting a -140 favorite, should I risk $140(1.4U) to make $100(1U)? Or should I always risk $100(1U) regardless of the odds? What about for underdogs?

My unit is about 2% of my bankroll: so if my bankroll is $10000 than my minimum wager is about $200
If -140 I'll bet 280
If +140 I'll bet 200
Very seldom I bet >-150 odds; never >-170

I change unit every $1000 increasing (or unfortunately decreasing) bankroll, so when I have $10000 I'll bet 200 till bankroll more than 11000 or less than 9000.... and so on

Its a good thing you are asleep during these games. We lose the Minn runline with meaningless home run in the 9th, and Wash had everything going their way only to lose it in extra innings. We could have easily had a 3-0 day. Your system did its job today, luck just wasn't on our side.
