DG, no reason you should stop capping. Maybe stop wagering on your plays, but you might as well continue to make picks to hone your skills so you eventually have a sport in which to make money when hockey's not going on.

I can't cap for fun unfortunately. If there's no money involved I'm really not too interested. I'm sure I will come out of retirement as usual at some point. I'm used to winning at whatever I do and set my mind too so this is really pissing me off. Can't wait for the NFL though that's for sure.

i hear ya DG. i actually wagered on paper for 3 years before i started with serious cash this year. it was really tough, especially when i ripped off a huge win streak and saw what i could of won. on the other side i also hit a few huge losing streaks and was glad for the paper bets. again not to beat a dead horse bro, you do what's best for yourself. i'm the same with hoops, can't win for sh...t. so i walked away. just sticking with baseball/hockey and i'll dabble with a few college/pro football picks. just keep an eye on those props, i really think you got something special goin on there

Yeah, Rockies were awful in the last games but they finally got this one. Hopefully for me as I was chasing them and went with RL -1.5 today to avoid too much juice.
DG, don't be mad, as you say, MLB regular picks doesn't seems to be on your side so just let them aside and continue with your well-going props. Cheers dude

much cheaper, and were talkin the rangers here not the mariners. besides the nats/pirates/oakland/tigers/astros all dogs did some damage this week. something to keep in mind.

thanks brotha, this has been a week from hell. looked like a tough day for you as well. next week i will be changin things up a little. still will be chasin, but more aggressive. it'll be more about a monthly profit, not a weekly series profit. it might be tough to follow but it's something i was tracking all year so far. i really don't have an explanation of those picks yet, but hopefully at the end of the year i will.

sorry if that came out the wrong way brotha, no hard feelings here. i was just pointin some facts out. i'm currently tracking those "dog" wins. it's something i might take a crack at next year . close to 79 of those losses i have are all dog winners. if i was on that side i would be up alot more than i am now, and probably would of lost no more than $300 on a series. it definately beats losing close to a grand when the favorite gets swept. (remember the last rangers/o's series). .

Brotha why won't you pick RLs for favorites? especially heavy favs whose lines are < -170, i mean for those games that the total are set at 8 or more the fav usually win by 2-3s points minimum or the dog wins... i mean only 4 games screwed me over the entire season so far when playing RLs (winning by only 1 point) You should try it sometimes just a friendly suggestion

i hear ya. i've been tracking the same thing. here's my problem. i chase a team to win outright. during the nhl season i played regulation winners to reduce the juice, and my team would win in OT. they got the win, i got the loss. couldn't stand it. same goes with the runline. i would rather just cut the line in half than give a run and a half. you make a great point and i appreciate the suggestion. keep them comin. i'm still a new guy at this and have alot of stuff in my head and on paper. i have to find one thing and stick with it. this is why i like this thread, there is a good group of people in here that try to help each other out. that's what this is about, helping each other win some $$$$$.
