Cotton may be a real comer with a 70.1 rating from my program last year and popping a 72.0 ST rating, where it is harder to gain points because the early games are short starts. Samardzija struggled last year and has scored only a 57 rating in ST this year. The A’s have popped the ball well in ST and if it carries over we could see Beane sitting on his staff this year instead of dumping at the trade deadline.
