George Brett.... 3 reasons, he played for KC his whole career, yet we've ALL heard of him.... he almost hit .400 one year... the closet legit shot in the last 50 or whatever years..... and the pine tar incident.... no one can not conjur up that image of him charging out of the dugout ready to tear the home plate umps head and not think that was cool.....

Brooks Robinson..... when you think of 3rd basemen highlights, his are the first that come to mind.....
