    Eddie Collins,,,,,,,, get my vote here..HOF who use to bury his bats in the back yard in the off season to keep them "alive"

                                    why am i not surprised that the cubs fans say sandberg is the greatest of all time?
                                    way to vote objectively...

                                    seems to me that the greatest of all time would've at least led their team to some championships, so i go with eddie collins - the guy hit .333 in pitching times and had 3300 hits.
                                    joe morgan, jackie robinson, rogers hornsby - these were all better players than ryno according to every historian that isn't a lover of the worst franchise in the history of sports, the cubs.
