Dex, what do you think of fading Marcum and the Blue Jays? Pretty much the same situation as Sheets plus Texas in their home opener should be good.

i like that idea. fyi - kinsler is out for texas.

i see baseball a lot different then basketball and football when stars are out. in those sports, "team" concept is a lot more applicable. point guards, QB's etc make other players better. baseball is much more of an individual performing sport - thus i will take notice when a star is out.

texas still has plenty of bats and esp at home should put up some runs...

(1x) rockies +110 - jiminez has 7ip and 0 er in his only career start at milw (col 1-0). gallardo has 5ip and 2 er in 1 career home start vs the rockies (hou 0-1). like the sharp opening move for colorado.

(1x) giants -130 - lincecum has given up 1er in 11inn pitcher at hou. have to take advantage of lincecum at a decent price.

(1x) mariners -130 - fading sheets here who hasnt pitched since 9/2008 vs one of the best in the game (king felix) at a decent price.

Solid picks so far DEXT, good analyszing and hope that to see you at the top for this sport this year. I may suggest an UNDER on the Colorado game according to the stats. However, too early in the season to say, usually it takes first 20 games for pitchers to settle in.

Hello, Dexter! I see you are ready to do MLB this season. I am looking forward to following your thread as always. I love MLB but as I have stated it isn't exactly my best sport to bet on. I cashed Boston last nite and felt lucky to do so.

I am liking Florida ML right now. Florida loves beating the Mets and I expect Santana to pitch fine but the Mets bullpen to blow it. Also, I don't see much offense from the Mets lineup with so many startes out.

I got lucky with my Texas call, thanks to the Jays pen (or lack thereof). Good call on key players being out. It's very easy for one player in baseball (such as a sub for a star) to be a one-man wrecking crew.

I am a huge fantasy baseball and football guy and plan to use that fantasy baseball knowledge and information to cap games and see how I can do during the 2010 baseball season. I love the thought of your system plays and will be looking into that further here over the next couple of weeks. I wanted to get on Seattle but it was -165 when I got home to check it. (2x) redsox -140 - burnett has been in fenway 3 times since being a yankee. the yankees are 0-3 in those games while burnett has given up 20er in 12ip. lester has faced the yankees twice at fenway in the last 2 years - 13ip, 4er and the redsox are 2-0 in those games. fenway has become a house of horrors for the yankees lately. like the sharp early movement on boston.

(1x) over angels 9.5 - blackburn has given up 9er in 7ip at la. saunders 6er in 5ip at home to the twins. like the early sharp movement from 9 to 9.5 at the Greek.

Also, JayPlay's will not exist for bases. Sorry Dex (and maybe even more TexHooper), I know you guys loved seeing me bet only overs! but I'm growing as an individual, and I'm treating "unders", like "reverse cowgirl".....it may be uncomfortable - and possibly hurt at first, but it can still get the job done given the right circumstances.
