Coming off a rare o-fer on Monday, SBR's Andrew Brennan is ready to bounce back with his best home run predictions for Tuesday, July 29th:
Ramon Laureano to hit a home run (Game 1) (+550 via bet365)
Corbin Carroll to hit a home run (+400 via ESPN BET)
Shohei Ohtani to hit a home run (+200 via BetMGM)
Matt Olson to hit a home run (+430 via FanDuel)
Parlay odds: +33790 via FanDuel ($10 to win $3,379)
Best Bet: Ramon Laureano (Orioles) to hit a home run - Game 1 (+550 bet365)
"Laureano has been scorching-hot at the dish for the Orioles. He homered in last night's win against the Blue Jays, giving him five in the last month (90 at-bats), though four of those have come in just the past two weeks.
The outfielder has always been known more for his glove than his power at the plate, as his career high of 24 homers came back in 2019. However, Laureano is managing the best batted-ball data of his entire career, as he's hitting the ball harder than he has in any season since that 2019 campaign, and his 48.4% hard-hit rate is the best he's ever recorded. He also owns a very impressive 13% barrel rate.
The only real risk - beyond the general volatility of home run props and betting as a whole - is that we don't yet know who's pitching for the Blue Jays this afternoon. However, we're getting an incredible price here. As you can see by our parlay, FanDuel has this listed at +350, and that's right around where DraftKings is, too."
