The daily SBR home run predictions cashed Eugenio Suarez (+350) on Sunday and Andrew Brennan is back with his best home run bets for Monday, July 21st:
Aaron Judge to hit a home run (+196 via FanDuel)
Ketel Marte to hit a home run (+310 via FanDuel)
Corbin Carroll to hit a home run (+575 via bet365)
Teoscar Hernandez to hit a home run (+375 via bet365)
Parlay odds: +24557 via FanDuel ($10 to win $2,455.70)
Best Bet: Corbin Carroll (Diamondbacks) to hit a home run (+575 bet365)
"Carroll has hit three triples and a double in three contests since his massive home run in the All-Star Game. I'm betting that he gets to trot around the bases today rather than sprint.
The outfielder has completely changed his approach at the plate this year, and he's hitting the ball harder than ever before as a result. Sure, he's striking out more often and his .251 batting average is more than 30 points lower than what he managed during his epic rookie year, but he's already mashed 21 homers compared to his career high of 25.
I don't know how a guy who's 5-foot-10, 165 lbs is generating this much power on a regular basis, but Carroll has found a way, and I think we'll see that on full display tonight.
It's not as if Carroll needs any help, but Astros starting pitcher Colton Gordon also happens to be terrible and gives up a ton of homers. If he'd thrown enough innings to qualify among starting pitchers this season, his 1.73 home runs per nine innings would be the fourth-most in baseball."
