#1998Chase Utley is just on FIRE. I guess even I could hit about .250 with Ryan Howard hitting behind me...but this is just getting nasty now.
Fantasy gold for anyone who has him.

#2003CC pitched well in his 7 innings, striking out 10, walking 3, didn't give up the front porch, giving up only one run with four hits - all in all, I'd say he was impressive and had a quality start. That is term that each punter will need to familiarize themself with, if they aren't already. It can aid a person foras well when applied properly. Now, all the Cards need to do is finish.

DICE stands for Defense-Independent Component ERA. It's one of the many interesting sabermetrics measures of baseball data. Very cool stuff if you're into it.
Anyways, DICE = (13*HRs + 3(BB+HBP) -2*K)/IP
This gives you the pitcher's DICE score.
An interesting way to apply this is by trying to predict a pitcher's ERA for the current year by using their past season's DICE. Some findings indicate that a pitcher's previous DICE is actually more accurate in predicting the current year's ERA than previous ERA itself.
To get a pitcher's estimated ERA, take their past season's DICE and add 3.20 to it.
Examples:
Ricky Nolasco 2009 DICE = 0.2216, +3.20 gives you a 2010 ERA of 3.42
Tim Lincecum 2009 DICE = -0.8343, +3.20 gives you a 2010 ERA of 2.37
Chris Carpenter 2009 DICE = -0.4308, +3.20 gives you a 2010 ERA of 2.77

#2013Another stat that I am beginning to use, as I feel it is more accurate than ERA for sportsbetting purposes, is DICE.

and to answer your PM, I'm looking to see if I have any old disks without my information on them and if I do will send you information.
