no offense, but you shouldnt always take the -1.5 runline on all your picks. also you're already down 1000 bucks when most people have probably already profited so far. just saying

It looks like he is playing the -1 for every game that he plays. Basically all it does is take away some of the juice playing big favorites takes (not that he is only doing this with heavy fav's) and adds to the money when the dog wins by 2. A 1 run win by his team is break even while a win by 2 is more money than if he just bet the ML

Ok I see what you mean, but wouldn't that mean you have to win at a much higher rate (say 60%) to see profits? Especially since great teams like the yanks win 30-40 1 run ball games a year of their 90 wins?

Yeah I was a little disappointed in our play at home. They have so much talent, but I think Andy Murray was not letting the kids play like kids. Im glad Payne is finally letting them do that.

Teams usually win 18% of their games by 1 run. That's 30 games. I don't have the numbers on RL to test this claim, but I think bailey is playing those with the thought that on those games he wins, he'll be making more money than if he just bet the money line, and that extra cash will make up for the money that he could have won when he pushes and the team wins by 1 run.

Glad you were able to cash from the game. It was a fun, but chilly, time at the park. Nothing like opening day - doesn't matter what city - as players and coaches are introduced plus the rest of the days events. All jokes aside, take a winter coat and have a great time.

Thank you, sir. I plan on it. And yes, Wrigleyville is notorious for selling sweatshirts for double what they're worth because its "always colder near the lake". It's still amazing to me that it can be in about 55 degrees in the suburbs, and then 48 in the city. Great ballpark because weather is the tenth man all the time.
