Any insight on why you have SF as such a big play? A few say Zambrano is due for a big day, but in my mind the Cubs are bums right now. The only thing that bothers me is SF lack of offense. Not questioning the pick, I'm on this with you. I recognize you as one of the top true cappers on this site and enjoy insight on the "why", even if it isn't your complete reasoning. Since the stoppage of the Second Half thread that was posted in PT there have been 16 winners, 8 losers which have won at a 66.67% rate while adding 41.44 units. Thanks to all who've stayed during the course and knowing things would right themself in a timely matter.

Thanks for the input guys, that is what I was thinking, especially for the low price I would hae been paying in this specific example. I didn't do it because I had a feeling about the way the game was going and my feeling was right but I might make this something I'm looking at more often.

it is hard to, but the later you get in games, the more you should if you can get a good price. e.g. Boston/Yanks yesterday was 7-2, heading into the 7th inning and Boston were paying $101.00. I put $10 on that. They then proceeded to load the bases and have ortiz ground out (i think... it was definately ortiz), but i was damn glad i was guaranteed profit whatever happened.

It is geared to producing more wins/units than previous seasons. Sometimes that means a dog other times it's the favorite. The results are far better than last season (which was posted here at SBR) and there's still plenty of games left this season. After each season, everything is reviewed to see if improvements can be made for the following season. Before they can be implemented, they are back tested several seasons from saved data. Currently, the thread is up nearly 180 (the actual amount is 178.84) units for the season - this doesn't happen by chance.
