TA i think the yankees are a play no doubt.. they gotta be wanting to gather a bit of momentum heading into the sox series but man can the favs vaporize a bankroll.. i had to hit a seattle rl and seattle ml bet to get it back.. ballsy bet under pressure.. anyway the favs havent been hitting the last couple of days so maybe the turnaround is coming.. do you ever bet dogs???

Without knowing what TA will do here, I'd be careful with that game.

Marcum is the better pitcher. Period. Hughes has really struggled recently. This game isn't just about starters, but as you saw tonight, if Marcum is only like Romero, the Yanks will get swept.

The problem is if the a different team was in the Yanks EXACT same spot in this game, most people wouldn't bet the game. Because it's the Yanks a lot of people feel you must bet because they "can't" get swept.
It's a bet for value of the dogs or you sit and watch.

Exactly, a lot of people think that Yanks can't be swept for the 3rd time in a row. This would happen for the first time this season if im not wrong. Im gonna sit this one out 'cos the odds -200 are not good

i agree also tommy and grumpy.. they are playing horrible.. jeter is cold.. tex is cold.. arod is a massive distraction and is cold also.. they are working new people in and out of the line up.. pettitte is hurt.. the rotation is jumbled.. the only person that has been consistent is cano.. there is alot wrong w/ the yankees.. i certainly wont be placing a large chase bet.. i took them in gm 1 and lost.. backed away last night cause they have the red sox next.. im gonna put them in a small parlay for fun maybe w/ jimenez cause sf plays atlanta next w/ lincecum on the mound.. thats about it..

You guys are right the price might be inflated due to the public perception that there's no way they will get swept. We've seen those type of series, especially this year, when a heavy favorite got swept at home (I believe that STL and SFO suffered it at the same time, which cost many people -including those following this thread unfortunately - a ton of money). Anyway I believe that Yanks will finally pull it off today, though I am undecided whether I play them or not. Maybe -1RL is a good alternative, as the great majority of their wins have been by at least 2 runs.

great picks today. i left yanks alone (and the over, which i quite liked), but they looking good. congrats to those who kept the faith in them.

i went hard on cinci and oakland as well (doubly and singly), so lets hope we're all in the same position for the evening games (with a stack of profit!).
