Thank you dodger33. Some don't realize the amount of work it takes for this game and the line between a win and loss gets thinner each season. Anyone who thinks they will go the entire season without a slump or two, to me, hasn't a clue as to what they are doing - there is a difference between wanting & expecting. The road of the season has many ups & downs, twists & turns but is always fun when one doesn't dwell on the non-winning days - learn from the mistake that was made and remember it for next time + don't repeat it, might seem easy and/or obvious but as my Grandfather told me long time ago, "When it looks too easy, you know somebody is working their a ss off." - he had a way with words.

I have an "opinion" or two about this game that will be posted closer to game time. One thing I've learned about and from you, you know the Dodgers better than myself and I have no problem with it (or others that know their team better than I) because systems crunch numbers while people who follow a team closely know their team better than what the numbers indicate.

TA does an excellent job , everyone will have ups and downs , I recently started posting my own plays and can tell you TA has kept me afloat this MLB season , theres three people that I keep an eye on everyday in the baseball forum and all three visit this thread on a regular basis , keep up the great job TA , now lets cash this biatch.............

Dodger33, since you follow the dodgers closely. SD local radio pointed out that both Garland & Correia had problem w/ keeping the ball down, which they find it hard to believe both had problem adjusting. So they were suggesting maybe the bullpen mount & the actual pitching mount are way off. Have you notice of this advantage for the home team? Wrigley are known for this, but they are not playing well.

Thank you saints7011. I have no problems with people posting in here or starting their own thread and hope those who venture outward have a successful season. FYI, I know the three you're speaking of as I go there to mine the daily records.

Would not surprise me but I doubt they could get away with something totally off. I am sure they have to be within certain specifications but it is possible that they could be off. I think its more the pitcher just making excuses.

Thank you dodger33. I don't post write-ups, or mini-ones like the one for this game, but when I do *ahem* they're pretty accurate/reliable . AG overall performed as expected, the bats got off early for both squads and then they settled down. Really liked the stuff the Dodgers SP showed in the game, sorry his name escapes me at the moment. I also though it was good move for your skipper to pull after he beaned - it wasn't intentional, but a smart move to keep "the peace". Congrats on the Dodgers getting the win.
