    Action vs. Listed
I don't think I have ever mentioned this before, but 90% of the underdogs I bet are with Action, and the other 10% are usually listing OPPOSING pitcher only. Conversely, 100% of the favorites I bet on are Listed, either listing both starters or listing my own starter only.

The reason for this is that I am a big bullpen guy, so if I bet an underdog on the basis of having the better bullpen, the sarters are not as important to me as to other bettors. Also, most of the time, my team will still be an underdog even if there is a pitching change, so I could live with that. As for the 10% listing opposing starters, those are the cases where I feel that my dog would become a favorite, or at best a very small dog that has lost its value, if the opposing starter scratches.

As for listing starters with favorites, on the rare occasions that I do bet chalk, it is usually because that team has a superior starter and the better bullpen, yet is favored by -125 or less. In these cases, the starters are obviously more important to me than if my team was a dog.

I rarely place a wager with a specific pitcher named. Halladay is the only one that I'd even consider doing that on, but other than that I would agree with your comments LT.
