Of the 6 particular teams that have clinched a playoff spot (while I've been watching) only one was Victorious the next day . Which was the Yankee's vs Washington. Tonight the Yanks go for the American League's best against a team (Baltimore) who clinched last night.
Today's teams who have clinched a playoff birth yesterday are Cleveland, Baltimore and Houston. Maybe the trend is over, but it's a 3 team RR today for me. That be Cincy, Yanks and the Mariners.
