Maybe so, Brock. I actually DO believe that LT is getting his plays from a model.

Market lines are so sharp, and there's variance. A better question would be:

1) What LT's target ROI is?
2) How often LT "tweaks" his model?

His model works best the last 6 weeks of the season. The first 4.5 months is not doing well because it doesn't have enough data from current season. This is why he gains most of the units at the end of season. Because the model has enough data to find out the edge.
