I’ve always wondered if you make an action play those odds are fixed correct?

Action has 2 meanings depending on whether or not the book uses listed pitchers or not.

If a book does not have listed pitchers (Bookmaker, Pinnacle, 5 Dimes), then yes your price is locked in at whatever you bet even if there is a pitching change later. That applies for Totals and Run Lines too, they also keep their Action.

If a book still uses listed pitchers (Heritage, BOL) and you select Action, then you keep action if there is a pitching change BUT at the new adjusted odds. And Totals and Run Lines are always refunds with pitching change no matter what.

Very interesting. I did not know that the price can change on an action bet even with listed pitchers.
