I can't take much more of this with the blown saves by Lidge, it is so frustrating. If the Phillies do get swept or lose in the playoffs it will be because of this. Wake up Charlie Manuel and stop being so loyal to this guy, he is going to cost you a shot at the world series. At least Cole Hamels is going today and he has been lights out in his last two games. Phillies are 7-1 in their last 8 following a loss, I have to stick this out, but you see how vulnerable the phillies are in their bullpen, you've been warned.

DAY 10 (One series chase bet {B})

    Starting Bankroll: $2194

    Series Chase: 3 - 0 ; + $325 ; Phillies ML -177 ($354 / $200) ; LOSS

    Straight wagers:
    1 - 1 ; -$3

    Parlays: 1 - 3 ; - $28

    Props:

    Futures:
Phillies to win world series +700 ($50 / $350) PENDING

I started this train-wreck I may as well finish it. I see now the difference between the last three Septembers and this September with this Phillies team. In years past they have always been behind the Mets in the division and were playing must win games in order to win their division. This year they are so far ahead and know that they will win the division no matter what, so their is no real pressure for them to win. The Phillies always play better when they are behind.

Lidge's blown save is looking worse and worse in this series, but I have one more game to make back my money. I'm not risking the whole bankroll and will get this money back somehow even if the Phillies lose on Monday. Their next series is against the Nats and then the Mets, two triple-A teams. And we even play Houston again if we do lose. (JM alert). I refuse to lose this money, even if it was just fun money compared to what was made this MLB season with JM system.

DAY 11 (One series chase bet {C})

      Starting Bankroll: $1840

      Series Chase: 3 - 0 ; + $325 ; Phillies ML -180 ($900 / $500) NO ACTION

      Straight wagers:
      1 - 1 ; -$3

      Parlays: 1 - 3 ; - $28

I must be the luckiest guy in the world on this Labor day. I come home to find that my bet was a no action because of a pitching change. The phils get swept and I keep my bankroll, that is too funny. So I didn't lose much with this little experiment but I failed at my goal and I failed with this experiment. I should have known better, oh well lesson learned and no harm done. I hope no one was stupid enough to follow me. The experiment is over for me just too risky. But I will figure out a way to make some coin with this team, they have a home stand coming up with the Nats and Mets, and now twice they will be a JM play this month. I'll just pick my spots from here on out. Best of luck to all and thanks for all the support and comments made in this thread and thanks to SBR for giving us this great forum.
