I can't recall ever seeing an O/U of 10.5 for a Rays/Jays game. I'm of the belief that oddsmakers do on occasion try to entice the public to play one side vs the other, or in this case, one total. The Rays have outscored their opponents 81-35 during their 10 game winning streak. That's 8.1 runs per game for you math majors. Today they face Ross Stripling, last 3 starts, 12.1 IP, 18 hits, 11 earned runs while Ryan Yarborough toes the rubber for TB, last 3 appearances, 13 IP, 14 hits, 4 earned runs. Yarborough doesn't always start and statistically this season has been much better in relief, but again, he starts today. These are 2 of 9 teams in the majors who have at least 60 HRs as a team this season, in the 3 prior games this series, they've combined for 11. And let me tell you there's been some unfriendly strong winds here these past few days. Today? Beautiful, calm winds, elevate the ball today in Dunedin, it'll have some carry. In the Cle/Det matchup the Tigers have a huge offensive edge. What they need to do is stop stranding so many runners. Just the same the Tigers are 7-7 versus lefty in the 5-inning game and have only one sub-par performance in their last 6. The Tribe are 16-9 overall versus righty in 5 innings but only 1-4 in their last 5. **

That is a very solid write-up, but I have this feeling it’s a copy & paste from anther analyst online. Still a good find & a informative opinion on these two games. I’m on Miami FG @ -129 odds for minuscule 500 dollars.
