Call me a Braves homer....but Mike Soroka at 40/1 to win the NL CY Young award seems like value. You might could even find a better number out there.

My problem with him is he has 37 career starts and by my count he has pitched less than 7 innings in 29 of them. When you look at someone like DeGrom when he won it, in his final 13 starts he pitched 7 innings in 12 of them. If you cant get to 7 innings you better give up next to nothing.Comment -

Be the favorite by any stretch over Bauer or DeGrom....but at 40/1?.....I think people forget just how young and good he was before he got hurt.Comment -
Not to mention he is coming into the season well motivated knowing that his absence was one of the key factors that the Braves missed out on the World Series last year......look for him to be strong.Comment
