Unless the game is fixed there's no real "trap". Vegas knew money would come in on the Angels, so they keep the line steady to line up all the money one on side. That way if Baltimore wins, they cash. Weaver may be weak after a home start, but his numbers against the O's were sparkling and even Vegas didn't think it woulda got outta hand this early. I'm also pissed that he wasn't removed earlier. I'm sorry, after 4 you hit the showers. Good night.

This isn't an insurmountable lead. Angels produce runs throughout the game so we'll just have to wait this one out.

I wonder what kind of dumptruck the books used to dump money all over Weaver's front lawn when they bribed him last night?

He has actually been pitching pretty poorly lately but this is unreal. I wouldn't be surprised if he has an "elbow injury" after tonight's game. And for the record: Weaver's never giving up six runs in one inning is whole career if I'm not mistaken.

Hah yah, I considered this game over the second it was 6-2 in the first and Weaver was still pitching. I'll still check back to this game from time-to-time and hope for a lil surprise but I'm over it !!! lol

What I shoulda done is put a little on the O's RRL! And shoulda nailed the over! I didn't sit back down at the comp until right after the game started

The sad part is that Tillman is doing exactly what I expected him to do (already given up 3 ER's in 3 IP includin a HR) I just can't understand Weaver. Either the books knew something going on with him (gf dumped him, got hemmroids, hurt his elbow masturbating, etc.) or it's fixed. Simple as that!

Maybe the manager doesn't want to deplete his bullpen in the first game of the series and decided Weaver is taking one for the team for at least 5 innings.

Well that's exactly it, but that is also conceiting defeat essentially. And that's a philosophy I don't subscribe to.

jcy, I know that's my point, this game is as fishy as mackerel. No other manager would have left Weaver in this long, especially when you know what kind of bats you have.

It's a forfeit if I've ever seen one.
