If there was an all-time game to stay away from, it's tomorrow's Cubs/Reds game. Even though its an unofficial JM system play, those suckers still have an uncanny knack for beating the odds. And yet you look at the game and think, this is a no-brainer for going with the Cubs.
Study the match-up, Harden's on fire, great on the road, the Reds have a journeyman reliever starting his second game, Cubs bats are hot, Reds plagued with injuries.... Everything says put the house on the Cubbies! Hell, bet the wife on the RL!

"FF" means 1st 5 innings.
"Wahoos" are the Cleveland Indians.
"Series bets" are games played by 2 teams playing each other.For example ( if a team plays 3 games you must win 2 games.If it is a 2 game or 4 game series,You must win 3 games or tied it if you are playing the underdog to win.If you are playing the favs see if the line is good in your favor because we don't want to play a fav whose playing in a 2 or 4 game series with a negative money(If we ended up with a tie we still lose some money).

All indicators point toward a Cub blowout, but I like the over a little bit more than the side. I capped this game out to have a final score that is in the double digits. Well over 10 at that. I don't necessarily like the JM play though. I went with the Reds and opted to not play the Nats last night and we all know how that turned out. The Reds gave me one of the only losses I had on the night. Harden will only go about 6 innings. Lehr will get shelled out of the game by the 5th inning. These teams have left an alarming amount of men on base during this series. In this game the boys get home and get ice cream after the game

Well this series is already a loss, and I am now in the recoup mode on it, and taking the Rangers straight on the RRL 1.5 times. If the line is +170 or so then I can actually get back to 2.55 units and make the whole series a - .5 (half unit) and move on knowing that I didn't give the book anything. If I am wrong then I'll only be down 3.1 units, the same as if I lost 1 unit on each game. So I'm putting my nuts on the table with this one. The Road Warrior Padilla is going for me against some unproven f*ck for the A's. The Rangers professional hitters will make things right for me! I will update the board when I get the line for the RRL. Even if the line comes back with the Rangers as the favorite, I have to get a 2 run win today to make this series a wash.

Well the line came out at Texas-1.5 +125, so I grabbed it and rolled with it quick, putting two units on the Rangers RL
. Reineke is one of our own from AAA Sacramento.. He is hardly lights out. He does have 66k's to offset 36 walks, but he also has a ghastly 12 home runs surrendered to couple with those walks and then you have a era of 4.67 as a result. He has a decent WHIP of 1.342, and on the major level that would be fine. But in the AAA's that's a bit high fo a guy trying to make a niche in the rotation. This has fill-in start written all over it. He will be on the bus out of town tomorrow after the experiment is over. The Rangers are in wild card hunt. This one gets ugly, Papa gets some o his money backComment -
I like the sharpness of the line on some of these plays especially the Pale Hose. enogsiwon came up with a better play for my series than I did and I had to to get him for it right in the 7-11 parking lot with the car still running. I certainly didn't like what I saw in terms of movement overnight for the Astros. If I take the loss on the series bet, I might as well make it up right away with an appropriate play on the Astros weak spot. Moehler gives up runs by the bushel load to the Giants hitters especially Sanchez who hits .579 againt him. Moehler had a fine start against the Red Birds because no one expected for him to deliver the goods. This time they do and the news about him facing the Giants is not good with Sanchez in the fold. He was already roughed up for 7 runs in 10 1/3 innings by them without his bat in the mix.

CK, early I think there is good value with the Mets today. Lohse has over a 5 ERA against the Mets for his career and even with the depleted Mets lineup they bat well against him. He's already pitched once against the Mets this season at Busch going 5 and giving up 2 runs, 1 earned, while delevering up 8 hits. I've got the Mets +1.5 (-140) and Mets over 4 (-105).Comment -
