The Cubs are tearing the stuffing out of the ball, Zambrano is a good hitter, Badenhop has a WHIP of 1.71 and cannot throw hard enough to get it by the Cubs hitters. Cub are operating off of a loss. Why is tha significant? During their current streak they have responded to losses on both occasions with double digit run production. Badenhop has geat stuff as evidenced by his wonderful K to walk ratio (36-16). The Cubs are a patient hitting team these days, and all of their hitters are hot right now. Badenhop doesn't hve the steam to blowguys away on one of those 3-2 or 3-1 counts. Which is why he is a spot starter and long relief bullpen guy to begin with. Expect about 6 innings max out of him. That's all that we need.

In one appearance against the Cubs this year he had a (get this) 54.00 era. He gave up 4 hits 4 runs, 1 home run one strikout and one walk.

He has a good era at home sure (3.09) but he has given up the bulk of his walks at home (11) and an alarming 26 hits in 32 innings pitched. To give our boy his props he does have 19 K's at home too. So what that tells me is that he starts hot and fades late, a do most guyswho end up in the bullpen.

Zambrano is 5-0 against the Malins in streak. You might like as a ligh option to parlay the Cubs and the over if you want to take some of the sting of taking such a high road favorite. That wy you can shorten your bet keep some money for other endeavors, and if it comes back all the merrier. If not yo didn't pile too much onto it. I piled onto it straight and I also played it the way i just advised you to play it, parlayed with the Cubbos.

Sigh....yeah my Red Birds have blown up and ended up front page news now and the lines are inflated. Wandy and Carpenter are both 2-3 against the other's hitters. It just boils down to who has the hotter bats right now. That's a toughy. Good luck with that one!

Homer bailey is in auto-fade mode right now, as well as cincy's bats can't find ways to buy runs. Ubaldo is no ace but should be able to get 6-7 inn. the best part is the odds makers -138 so we can play ml.

Yeah you were right. Most of the guys that Looper had on his 4-0 streak against the Padres are no longer playing there or are on IR. I didn't see that one coming. The Brewers do have some major problems with relief pitching. I will not play them on the road anymore this season
