Blargh, question about the system plays you listed, is the first team that you listed a play? For example, it's Dodgers over Pirates? Thank you.

The away team is listed first and the home team second.
All the info for this system is in the first post of the thread. If you read that you'll see that you play the Home team. It also suggests you wait for a home loss in game before starting the chase in game 2. I play it starting with game one. More series wins but a larger risk in the final game.
I do not list the plays. I only list the upcoming unfiltered series. You can then use any filters you wish on them and decide on which chases to play. I post them mostly with the hopes someone will correct them if there are any mistakes.
I started playing this system on July 20th. It is 63-0 since then. I'd caution against joining this late in the season. If there is a loss you don't have enough plays to offset it.
I have only avaoided one chase and that was the recent Red Sox at Royals in which the Royals won the first two games. But the Pirates are a truly horrible team going 3-17 so far this month. I did play them last weekend when the Padres visited. If you use any of the filters suggested by BouncedCheck then I am sure you won't be playing this chase.

4 Game Home Chase 2009 Season

So I spent a few minutes tonight looking at every Home Game Series. I think I calculated correctly that there were 146 4 Game Home Series. Of those 146 there were 3 sweeps: Washington 2 times, and St. Louis 1 time. However if you would have filtered out any home team with a lower RPI than the visiting team you would have had a perfect season. The amount of plays probably would have been cut in half, but there would have been zero losses.

The way I figured to keep the D bet from getting too high would be to only bet 1/3 or 1/2 a unit on the A bet, and then on the D bet try to break even. I didn't look at any of the previous years, so if anyone wants to do that then I'm sure we would love to see the results. Also if someone could figure out the best way to bet a 4 game series that would be welcomed.

P.S. I'm also going to look at Over/Unders for all 4 game series.

I know I will need to look at filter for this next season. Since I started the system has gone 72-0 with a D game pending between the Nats/Braves. Other than the last week I played every series either by the 4 game chase or a few I didn't play the four games chase since the first game was also a system play in another system I was using. But I was even playing the Nats so I was playing it completely unfiltered.
Backtesting others have done have shown 5-6 losses a year. So this year, even if the Braves lose tommorrow, was an extremely good year for this chase.
Also any filter that filters out the 2 Cards losses and the loss at the hands of the Cards would likely filter out half or more of the games. Unlessyou just filter out all series involving the Cards. But how fluky is it that the Cards where involved in half the losses (excluding the Nats losses, a team which deserves it own filter) in the past two years.
Having said that, I do believe I will give this chase a proper send off for the year by jumping on the Braves in game four to avoid the home sweep.
          GL everyone.

I started the system on April 12th.
The system is 16-1 so far, with 2 series in progress.
The series loss was the Red Sox. The series with the suspended game. I ended up a cancelled bet for Game 1 and wasn't able to bet Game #2. I did bet Games 3 and 4 and was down 5.3 units from that series. A full game series would be approx 44 units. So if I had played all of the Red Sox/Rays series, I'd be down approx 28u at the moment. Instead I took the loss I had on that series, approx 5 units and added it into the next Red Sox 4 game home series vs the Angels.

While I am sure this chase will be profitable again, it is the most stressful of the chases I do. It's not the home series at Washington or Kansas City that scare me, it's the home series in Boston or St.Louis. I currently have no filters. I may filter out teams that are slumps. Especially bigger favs.

As a side note, if you played the RL for the home team, you'd also be 16-1.

Make sure you read a lot on this thread. If I had to cut a chase, I'd cut this one.

With interleague play it's a short sched for June. If you see any mistakes or missed plays let me know

                    Jun 4 Padres Phillies
                    Jun 7 Rsox Indians
                    Jun 7 Angels A's
                    Jun 7 Mariners Rangers
                    Jun 7 Braves Dbacks
                    Jun 7 Astros Rockies
                    Jun 28 Jays Indians

System is 33-1 season to date. If you had played all 4 games of the TB-Bos series with the suspended game, you'd be +0.8 units. If you had your game one bet canceled and only played the final 3, you'd be +11.5 units.

The -1.5RL RL is 32-1 with Wash/Hou pending.
