Mr. Crumbs Leans for Monday 5/11/09
You already knew that I was gonna do it when you saw the line. And when I see 97% of the public is riding with the favorite guy I have to go the other way and take the guy who is NOT a +170 pitcher. Gimmie them crumbs! This is not to say that Santana is not a good pitcher or anything, which he is. This is nothing personal against him. I just have to fade him with the streaking team coming into town.

    Atlanta+170 Lowe is NOT a +170 Pitcher
Atlanta+260 RRL If I am right I want it all the crumbs
Wahoos-1.5 +145 It is overdue and will get ugly
Giants-1.5 +150 Johnson will contain the tired Nats (Savage0765 & Dexter)

I have one total in mind for Monday.

              WAS @ SF, Over 8.5 (-110)
              - The over is 5-0 in Cabrera starts this year, and the average total score in those games has been 12.3 runs. Randy Johnson is unreliable and I feel like the Nats will get to him tomorrow.

Ah, okay so here it is

Bruins team total to go over 3 -125
                          Red Sox-1.5 +140
                          Celtics+5 -110

                          $100 to win $724.73
Too bad the Sox didn't get it done. It would have been sweet. Nice job with the Celtics.

                              plays for today:
                              CLE -1 3x
well...in April I had to fade Pavano...but now he turned the ship around and is back to his old form...or lets say almost... and lets hope the Indians bats come alive today here

                              SF -1 2x
...first of the Giants own the Nationals...second Randy looked really good so far this year at home...only thing that worries me is that the Giants never faced Cabrera, but then the other teams in the NL didnt have a problem with him either...add in that the Giants are hot right now...oh yeah Randy should make me money here today...

                              NYM -1.5 1x
...Lowe a +180 pitcher ?...it is just too good to be true...but Santana will pitch like we all expect him to pitch...plus the Mets offense is hot right now...so I just hope they put some runs on the board for Johan here today...

Looking forward Saturday night I absoultely loved SFG in this spot with The Unit pitching. I am slightly unnerved by the fact that their pen had to work so hard in that LAD series but hopefully Johnson goes deep into the game and it's a moot point.

Also on the CLEV play. Going to ride them until they break loose. Sox bats struggling as bad as the Tribes.

Randy Johnson has actually been pitching much better this year and seems to have his control ack. He's had a few tough breaks as any Giants pitcher may have due to their lack of hitting, but for the most part he is giving quality starts. Cabrera tosses grapefruits and should be on the farm instead of the big leagues. I am gonna ride with the Giants and the carry over effect for last night's extra innings affair with the Dodgers.

For once a f*ck up helped my cause on this one, T.A. After wasting around 5 minutes yesterday just trying to figure out the way to place a hockey team total wager, I just called in my bet over the phone and forgot to go with the Red Sox at -1.5. I ended up winning as a result because I accidentally requested the moneyline for the Sox. A moment of confusion turned out golden for me for a change.

You can always tell the outsiders. And with this poster being new and only having 21 posts, it's a good bet that this person is an alias. By the style of the comment and the lack of a play of their own, as well as coming here on their own free will and criticizing others instead of just opening up a new thread with their picks, I am going to go out on the limb and say that there's a good chance that this guy is moneyline. Every other poster here has a pick or commentary about their picks, etc.

This guy... well like I said you can always tell the outsiders..He gets banned and then comes back again with a new identity, but you can always tell a skunk by his stripe

Tough bet to go against NYM. I agree there is value in ATL at such a high + line but Santana has very convincing #s.

                                                4-1 Record
Team W-L is 4-2 when pitching
                                                0.91 WHIP
                                                0.91 ERA

7 straight and you gotta try to ride it till the wheels fall off. RL @ +105 might be the bet here. ML has no value.

95% of bettors are on the Mets-1.5, and 79% are on their moneyline. Now playing the Braves is the true meaning of fading the public. I like that a lot. There's a million guys thinking that this is a free chicken dinner game. Ths one is setting up as a shocker. If the Braves win this game the books will rake in so much dough that it's pathetic. A good clean combined 174% of the public's money will go down the drain. I didn't really like this wager when I made it as much as like it now. Now I LOVE this wager. Especially when I am on the side of the books.

I have been thinking about the under on this one since last night.

Don't give any credit to the Mets vs Pitts this past weekend - Mets *dominate* bad teams...always. Mets have scored a boat load of runs lately. Most of the position players in their lineup are overachieving offensively. Atlanta scores almost a full run more on the road so far and give up a 1/2 run less. Mets are avg'ing 6 runs per game and allowing 2.8 at home the last 6 - let's be serious.

I can't give any guarantees but with that ML if you have some under-the-mattress money it might be time to play it.

I will have to go back and check but the Braves record is not very good this year without him. McCann is back and Kotchman is really swinging a hot bat so maybe that will be enough in the middle of the lineup. I am still chewing on this one.

                                                                    From Rotoworld.com

Chipper Jones is expected to miss Monday's game against the Phillies (should read Mets) after suffering a hyperextended elbow on Sunday.

Chipper should be all set when the Braves begin a three-game set with the Mets on Monday, but he was in a bit of pain Sunday evening. "That area is pretty jacked up right now," he said. "But I don't see it being more than a day."

I have an email in to a source of mine that is close to the team and will update.
