Nola may already be one of the top 10 pitchers in baseball, he is 4th in the majors in xFIP.
Shoemaker has been downright sensational his last four starts, 37 strikeouts vs. NO WALKS in 30.1 innings.

Should add that recent Shoemaker upgrade yields Angels 56% (-127) here. In other game, I only get Nationals 57% (-133).

I repeat, 4th in the majors in xFIP at 2.67.
He is even 10th in WAR, barely ahead of CHRIS SALE, and there is nothing fluky about his stats. He has a great ratio of 9.81 strikeouts vs. 1.73 walks per nine innings while allowing a 53.3% groundball rate. He also may already have the best curveball in the majors.

Zack Godley is the AZ starter if that makes any difference in your model for the MIA/AZ game

Good, I hope they entertain trade offers with the Red Sox, but I doubt it. LOL.

I figured. I wasn't sure if it had been announced though. Can I ask what you have for a total in that one?

9.1 weather neutral. I am tempted to bet the Over, but Fernandez being capable of shutdown effort is holding me back for now.

Yep. About 10 minutes after I got my over in. Bastards! Fortunately bad pitching and terrible managing were able to overcome it. Should be open tonight. No weather forecast, and winds shouldn't keep it closed.
