#39CK I think I have the same question as LDK.
I don't understand how you parlayed 6 ways.
Is it a system (round robin) bet played in pairs of 2? I tried that but my book wouldn't let me play the Marlins and the Marlins over together in the same bet.
I'm confused.
Can you shed some light?
ThanksComment -

#41That line looks fishy Smith.
Why aren't the Cardinals favored by more? If we know tha Cabrera stinks, the linemaker knows Cabrera stinks. He is having a hard time adapting to the National League. Not like he was any good in the American League, but whatever. This one is gonna be a slugfest with both teams scoring over 5 runs apiece.Comment -

I have a rookie question, please help me to understand...... I picked Texas to win the Series and there was a game postponed due to raining yesterday. so they will ONLY play one more game for this series today, if Texas win today game, does it mean Texas win the series or the book will CANCEL my wager????

#45Rough day in baseball yesterday, but the late prop over on Giants/Dodgers runs/hits/errors has me feeling a momentum shift. (I couldn't have been more off on over r/h/e's in Bucs/Brewers game!!!)
I really like KC today. Watching Burres here in Baltimore the last couple years, I know that the Royals will put up some runs early at least. I also like Davies to bounce back from his first disappointing start of the season last time out versus the Tigers. After seeing the match-up, I said I'd take it at 130 or less, so:
Royals -130
Royals -1.5 +145
Oakland is not a good road team (or at all for that matter) Texas bats should be able to produce enough for a win today.
Rangers -1.5 +165 (small chunk thrown at pretty good line value)
At even odds, I'll take a shot at the prop for:
Michael Young to score run (Even)Comment -

I wrote them correctly (just checked), though I don't get what you are saying....I'm having a bad "brain" day....
1-0, on the KC Ov 9.5. I ended up looking at it again and going with the smart money...even though I was against it this morning, lol.

#61Aw man, looking ahead to tomorrow, I like
Orioles+1.5 Halladay is on the bump. Gimmie them Crumbs
Twins-1.5 (Ponson is an auto fade until he gets sent down or released)
Giants/Rockies under 8.5 HEAVY
The under is 8-1-1 in Randy Johnson's last 10 performances against the Rockies, including 2 straight wins over Jiminez, 2-1 and 4-2 while a D-Back.
I may end up taking the Twins team total if it is 5. He is always around the plate. Unfortunately for him so are the Twins hitters, especially at home. His fastball has lost pop over the last two years. not that it blew anyone away before, but it's just bad news when you are on the road for the first game and your team is playing indoors against arguably the best rug team over the last 5 yearsComment -

#63both matt garza and josh beckett have come out of the gates slow, but boston is in a bad position in this one. tampa has had the upper hand vs boston at home the last 3 seasons and especially when garza is on the mound. the rays are 4-0 in garzas home starts vs the sox (all from 2008), and garza has a career era/whip vs boston of 2.90/1.21. the sox are just 2-4 in becketts starts in the dome. boston is coming off a big come from behind win at cleav, and could be a little flat after the emotional win. the sox bullpen was used up tonight, as papelbon went for 19 pitches, okajima 22 pitches (and he pitched 1 inn tue), delcarmen 31 pitches, and lopez has pitched 2 nights in a row. they really need beckett to go deep, but his current form is not sharp - it looks like garza will be pitching off a TB loss. gimme the home dog.
