the nats+1.5 is the correct call on that one. no free chicken dinners in baseball wagering. Especially against an unknown pitcher. Nats were huge for me last year in +1.5 situations. This is a good spot to take them. I personally am laying off of this one because i have some stronger wagers and one good opportunity (royals) for a big payday with little put up. Not trying to bust your bubble or take away any shine.

last year was the first year i really started to do them full time, and i made sure of keeping an accurate record of the games i played on the run line vs if i would have played the moneyline. in the end, i won more money (not by a whole much) doing the run line on favs above 150

it hasnt worked out that well after 1 week, but i will not stray off of my game when i know from a larger sample size how i did.

i dont think they are sucker bets at all.
