10-0 MLB SBR Handicapper Joe C- I Do It Every Season
We all knew when Liriano was pulled that something was up. This was a tough beat but you'll bounce back with the next game that you are assigned.
have a few drinks and shake it off. Good luck today

I wish you have read the articles. You can't be "half all-in" and it's 2 games out of 33.

Obviously, you know that's how betting works. you have some lucky wins and bad beats and this one was rough. Thanks. I'm fine. It's a grind and people have to realize it. There's times where I've won 15 in a row and theirs times where I've lost 5 in a row, but my MLB picks have "historically" been a plus side venture. Trust me, I didn't put my picks here to lose. I know you get it, but you get an occasional person that expects 0 losses.

Also, I have picked many underdogs and 2-star plays. Point being, the odds sucked, but everything evens out in the end. Sometimes if a pitcher is red-hot, you take him. I'm also playing with "house money" and hopefully people that follow, have been benefiting from the picks. That said, I will take a big-time favorite, but it has to be the right spot and not after a loss. It's been a really good run and you just can't win every game. I'm a grinder and I've done this the past few years with great success. Baseball is a grind in general. Let's hope the next pick hits and if it didn't, that would make me 26-7 and I'm sure that anyone would love to have a record like that. As of now 26-6.
im 26-12 posted on all underdogs of +110 or better. with a avg price much better than that. up over 21u based on 1u plays. id prefer that to losing 2 to 1 favs but that just me..

Well that sounds good to me, but the play that you're mentioning, was my biggest play (in odds) this season, I'm up a large amount, and sometimes you have to take a shot with a pitcher that has been dominant. Good for you. You're doing what works for you. I have no problem with that.

fair enough, i just dont believe in laying anything close to that on a single baseball gm. i assumed it was a gm you were given and had to take a side as you have mentioned happens i think. anything more than -130 starts making me uncomfortable, anytime i go above i generally do a open 2 team parlay and save the next spot for the next time i see a play i like in the -140/150 range. anyway you slice it clearly you having a strong season. gl going forward.

thanks, buddy. You and LT Profits are big underdog bettors. He's quite good at picking the dogs.Have a successful season. We have plenty of time to go in the season and this is when players start to come into their own and shake off the rust. Good luck.

If I get emotional, you roll with it. The winning will speak for itself over the next week. I'm in one of those modes where failure isn't an option. My name is attached those articles and that means something to me. Let's get this going.

When I saw Joba chamberlain try to get the last out, I knew it was bad because I'm from new York. Most of my predictions have been correct in what ive said but a loss is still a loss. I know that it's a grind and I've had losing streaks before. I'm such a believer in momentum and although my record is still killer. I haven't come through for people lately. Hang in there. Joba.lmao...unreal...I will get back on the winning track and that's a promise.jc

"Pissed Off For Greatness" "No Man Content With Being Mediocre"- words to live by
Sometimes when I need a kick in the ass and think about life, I watch motivational videos and no matter what you think of Ray Lewis, nobody works harder and never gives up. It's Picks of the Day for 6/1.
I was winning for a reason---because "I'm pissed off for greatness". Time to grind. Time to win. Don't lose faith.
Ray Lewis had the same speech prepared for his Alumni Miami Hurricanes which failed to make the airways and they lost. That's the bigger untold story here in my opinion. Good luck tonight with your plays. You're getting kinda "chalky" with your bets as of late. That chalk will eat at your profit slowly but surely in this parity driven league as the season goes on. (something to think about)

Thanks. Yesterday wasn't chalky at all. Yankees lost as underdogs and Detroit was -105. I do what I see fit. Looking to start another winning streak. The encouragement is still welcome and I did see the Miami video. This one was more to the point. He's a great motivator.

I wouldn't say that. I've thrown every ace during this losing streak and things have went stale. I'm very streaky and I can also run off another 10 wins. That said, obviously I'm not thrilled. A win will be the cure and we take it from there. It's up to each person to make their own decisions. I'm here to help and you'll see at the end of the season that the final record will be securely on the plus side. Let's think, I've taken, Hernandez, Price, Liriano, Greinke----you would expect a win. Wouldn't you??? I'm well grounded and confident.

We bet so different. I very rarely back those guys.
Who u have tonight joe? Nyy was my play. 28-13 +22.8 . Im fighting regression like the bitch half these posters are mine won't last either, I just shoot for 5-2 weeks w all doggies. Some been 6-1, few worse but still up. Just doing my best not to drop more than 2 in row, preferably not 2 but has to end there. Figure I can go .500 rest of year w dogs and have turned a nice little profit this baseball season.
IM super steaky like you w ncaa hoops for some reason. I've had 0-11 days then 10-1 type days bavk2back. But that cause the insane volume. Figure w this 1 dog A day I can limit bad stretches. I'm sure you get back hot.

Thanks. Congrats on your recent luck. I had Seattle and King Felix and I'm a Yankees fan. I'm like you. I'm super streaky. The minute that the streak goes bad, people have little faith and I get it ,but this is a 162 game grind and it's expected. Unfortunately, I shot quick out of the gate and have hit a rough patch. When I'm going bad, I tend to jump on the aces at the best odds possible, but right now, just looking for the win and everything will fall in the positive direction again. Thankfully, I started off so well. Thanks for the insight and encouraging words. I live for challenges and I know that I'm not a fraud as my picks are documented. I'm staying positive and your post means a lot. I hope you made a killing tonight

I don't follow anyone but myself, I just think you're focusing too much on aces and you're overpaying for it too. There's plenty of value in other matchups. People get to caught up in the "aces".

You're becoming fade material quickly...
Can't say I'll be tailin any more of your picks on favs.
It's generally bad business to bet favs in MLB anyways.
Give us some dog winners and let's get that win% back up bud.

Just keep doing what you're doing. Changing your model because of a couple of losses might not be the best advice.
Dom is an awesome capper but sometimes losses faith too quickly.

Thanks for the compliment Jay. Not trying to change Joey C's capping model Cuz he's still doing well. I'm just usually cautious in picking lots of MLB favs, but have been tailing him cuz of his success (which shows I respect his skills). But he's on an 0-9 run or so and needs to get out of the rut somehow.

Either way, I'll be checkin back in to see what you've got to say for today & the future.
I'm lookin at tx rangers today, and parlayed a Rockies gm1 / Dodgers gm2 double header split.
