Atlanta 3 Los Angeles 2- Sorry guys. My worst fear came true. We had an even ball game and Greinke hands the ball over to the bullpen. A wild pitch really was the difference. LA was down 3-1 in the bottom of the 9th, hit a home run, and actually had a chance to tie. SMH

We still have a great body of work at 26-6, but my concern is for a new follower and for that, I'm sorry. Time to move on (look for a better bullpen) and come back strong. Remember, I had lost 5 times before and came back with strength. I've actually had 4 -1 run losses, but no bullshit excuses, a loss is a loss.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR THE NEXT PICK. 5 MONTHS TO GO. I'm going to dig deep here and give us the best edge. This loss was my fault in relying on the bullpen. Okay. I INTEND TO WIN THE NEXT ONE. id say dont bother when anyone suggest to play a -190 fav but if i recall correctly he has said he is given a gm and doesnt choose it? if that the case hard to fault him as much, certainly narrows your options when the gm is picked for you. that is like 2 losses tho, that why i never do it..

Thanks Smoke. It's my 18 month old son Joey. Life changes with a kid, especially at my age. The angle of the black and white picture makes it difficult to tell if hes a boy or girl, but when I change him, he's a boy.LOL. We don't want to get his hair cut too early and kids (even boys) are cute when they have the curly hair as a toddler. The picture is so beautiful. He's a great kid.

It was a tough loss to swallow. People don't have to take the pick at those odds. If you had read my article, I mentioned that Greinke got screwed by his offense in his last 3 starts. Also, I have picked many underdogs and 2-star plays. Point being, the odds sucked, but everything evens out in the end. Sometimes if a pitcher is red-hot, you take him. I'm also playing with "house money" and hopefully people that follow, have been benefiting from the picks. That said, I will take a big-time favorite, but it has to be the right spot and not after a loss. It's been a really good run and you just can't win every game. I'm a grinder and I've done this the past few years with great success. Baseball is a grind in general. Let's hope the next pick hits and if it didn't, that would make me 26-7 and I'm sure that anyone would love to have a record like that. As of now 26-6.

I'm definitely happy at this point. 8 k's in 4 innings and Liriano in charge. I'd like to see some insurance runs. Liriano's pitch count is a tad high. If Pittsburgh continues to play like this, look for Hurdle to stretch out Liriano where the pitch count is concerned.

This is the first time during this run, I thought a manager made a shitty decision. Hopefully Pittsburgh can find a way to pull this out.

Just an inexplainable loss that's going to happen. I basically called this game. Was spot on about everything and freak circumstances and a lousy Pittsburgh manager turn a W into an L. I'm not sorry. It was a great pick and we move on at 26-7 to the next day. I suggest that you stick around. If you READ the article, there's nothing that I would take back. I'm ready for the next challenge.
