But in Football I could not imagine rooting for any other team than Seattle, which has been my favorite NFL team since the 70's.
I've got a few alternates in the NFL as well actually. Again, Lions fan first and foremost, but I also like the Bengals and the Steelers. I realize that makes no sense but I've been a Steelers fan since I was a kid (my dad was a huge Steelers fan). Bengals = same reason I like the Reds. Really at the end of the day, the only NFL teams I can't stand are the other teams in the NFC North (Packers, Vikings, and the Bears). I currently also hate the Browns because Johnny Manziel is a total douche.

Where you located in Texas? I lived in New Braunfels for about a year.

haha yeah it's ridiculous. Anthony Cumia holding one of his ridiculous rifles in a Jurassic World style pose. I'm a big fan his radio show (and old Opie and Anthony stuff).

At first I was super bummed that I forgot to go back in and buy the San Fran ML, I just completely forgot about it. I was going to try and get back $100 or $150 bucks on that game. Even my lean was wrong. What a shit day after such a great Saturday.

For the next few weeks (maybe the rest of the season), I'm going to get away from flat betting. In MLB seasons past (this one is my 11th), I've always bet the games flat. Then in October/November, I walk away with between $1k-$4k profit (there are exceptions obviously, I've lost money a couple times and made way more once). I realize that may not be a big deal for a lot of you guys, but for me that's excellent.

Today I figured out that I'm not enjoying the grind this year. Sure, it's always more fun when you're winning games and making money and it's always shitty when you're losing games and losing money, that's to be expected.. The thing is in both cases I still enjoyed the whole process and the grind of it all. I used to LOVE capping MLB games. If I'm no longer enjoying the process, why in the hell am I doing this with my money in the first place? I could get in my car, drive 5 minutes and invest my remaining $3k and make a few bucks that way. But obviously I'm not going to do that because I'm a degenerate on a gambling forum.

It's actually a relatively simple problem to solve. Instead of just sitting back and watching the same thing play out ad nauseam, I'm going to try some different approaches. It can't possibly get much worse. If I do end up blowing the rest of my BR, I'd much rather do it enjoying myself than hating every minute of it. It's happened before and I know for sure it'll happen again. That's gambling.

                      Here's to a new week..

BOL Terror; I am going about the same way...lol. Wondering if I should do the opposite of what I am thinking...lol I would never do that but it can be frustrating; no doubt.

For example, 4-6 weeks ago I was down about $2,500; got back to even a week or so ago and now back down about 1,000...lol.

This is only my second year gambling so we will see where it goes...

                        Again...BOL buddy.

Probably going to jump on the Cubs as well. I'm going to wait and see how the first few innings of STL/MIA goes first.

Wow, glad I hopped on Detroit when I did. Rodon is getting no respect at all. I was shocked that I was able to get Oakland with Sonny Gray at 130. A's are complete trash at home but they're almost .500 on the road. 9 times out of 10 I'll happily take a .500 team with a legit ace.

Detroit somehow just put up 2 runs in the 10th. I don't think I've won a single Tigers bet that went extra innings this year. Still need 2 more to end this..

If I end up losing big tonight I'll probably just limit myself to an STL play tomorrow. They're hosting the Cubs this weekend. I'll take my chances with a chase.

Probably dumb as fukc on my part to Martingale chase after what happened to me a couple weeks ago with Detroit. At least this time I'm doing it with a good team. Yuck. One day I'm going to go back through this thread and figure out how much of the $2k I've lost this season was due to Detroit. I would honestly estimate at least half.

Today was bad. Just for shits and giggles I'm going to start posting all of my leans when I first handicap the games. I'm interested to see if I'm better off playing them all or choosing a few I really like from that list (that's what I have been doing).

These were today's leans from 11am:

Somehow I ended up deciding Detroit was more attractive than both SF and Was.. Which I guess is understandable. SF was playing SD with Shields. Was was starting Fister (who I love) against ATL and an unexperienced starter.. ultimately I was uncomfortable with not really knowing what he was about.

Hopefully STL takes care of business.

Cinci is hitting the ball at least.. glad I got the +1 as some minor insurance. We'll see.
