I remember you making that statement before season started...along with Tillman.
Right on both...think we'll see Tillman come around...just a hunch...the guy's worst months statistically are April and May.
I backed him quite a bit last year from June on.

Yeah, and I suppose bucholz will come around be the "Ace" of the staff. LOL. I think Tillman is a decent enough pitcher, but I did tell you last year he is not an ACE. Neither will Kluber be. if " Mad Max's" bullpen didn't keep throwing away games last year, he could have been a two time CY guy. LOL. To me Aces are: King Felix type guys, or Kershaws and Bumgarners, proven winners year after year. Just my opinion.

I thought of him that he would come down to earth, but only a little bit. I am surprised that he has such a bad year. Especially because the only thing which really changed drastically is his BAA. Ks and BBs got a LITTLE bit worse, too, but not very much. Well, and of course his slider gets hit much more. That's the reason I think. According to a reliable source his slider was hit for only .090 last season, while this season his slider has been hit for .194. That's still a very good number but definately not as lights out as last season.

ive read and heard some good stuff bout him the last week or so, i was really curious cause yea of coarse a little regression but not like this. honestly nothing screams bad about him and i think he isnt doing much different, the problem is hitters have adjusted and are jumping all over him early in the count when they know he throwing strikes. check out hitters numbers on 1st pitches and early count, they are teeing off. his command is good enough that it will be interesting to see if he can make the adjustment back and start maybe throwing them pitches he was throwing later in the ab last year to get weak contact? this a really interesting case study tonight cause while cards like working counts they got a bunch of guys that been looking to drive the ball early in the count, he would be wise to make them look at borderline pitches or get themselves out on the 1st pitch especially and a ton early in counts. of coarse the down side is cards plate discipline is really good and he risk getting behind good hitters.

obviously if i know this, the cards know this, and he certainly knows this. at this point if he continues to do the same thing he crazy cause it clear the book out, baseball all bout adjustments, it on kluber to make the next one cause he losing right now as the league has figured him out..

maybe the fact cards havnt seen him will help kulber but again w/o a free out in the 9 hole i think it pretty unlikely (even if he pitches well) he does better than 7ip 3er. that if he figures some things out. lackey gonna give up some runs (at least that black hole swisher aint playing today) lackey splits vs lefties not great, and he not the same away from busch. i wouldnt advise doing some foolishness like taking 7.5 +110 so not my play but im on the ov7 -110 in this one. 7 was my low side of this number, it could be 4-3 but we all know im not sold on cards pen, and tribes looked crappy yesterday, even if the starters good they will have to work which should give us several innings of the pens to give up runs, favorable ump too.

whats the better play over 7-110 or cards+125?

for me i believe it the over. tribe could just as easily put up a few crooked numbers vs lackey and the pen. how i looked at it was even if both starters were good we talking 6-7 innings and 3er a piece which means push at worst with several innings of pen. there certainly a case to be made for cards at this number and im not arguing with anyone not to play them, but this second gm in a row books giving out + money on cards, they dont typically do that for fun as cards always take money and would at a way worse number vs a team struggling like tribe. im not into trying to predict outcomes based off numbers like my guy NC but it hard to imagine books set this series w/o a little faith tribe get one of these 1st 2.

yes against muts, harvey great and all but hammel not chopped liver and he facing a much weaker lineup. ive been against muts all series, well more than that since their win streak .. atl/cincy ov 7.5, dont like ump but everything else i like enough to not care..
