Hello everyone,

First time posting to this thread. I've been a longtime member of Tony Chau's system bets. I recieved an email today in regards to his Mayweather/Paquaio fight for this weekend. I was wondering if anyone was thinking about purchasing this pick from him for $65? Not sure if I should do it or not.

We would appreciate it if you would pick it up and share it with all of us. Every handicapper named "Tony, Dick and Harry" is probably selling a pick on this fight.

Also I'm a bit surprised he's not selling picks for the Kentucky Derby.

I can't see paying $65 for him to tell me to bet on Mayweather, the heavy favorite. Don't take this as advice; I don't know for sure what his recommendation is, and I don't know have any knowledge of boxing. I just don't see him picking the underdog.

There's tons of other ways to bet on that match. Alot of props. I doubt he'll just bet on one fighter SU.

You're right but I'm sure that he will be sending out a prop bet, like will the fight go the distance or some other play. There are several angles to bet the fight.

My pick is on Floyd Mayweather on the Money Line

I have mountains of reasons why Mayweather is the value pick in this match, but here are the most important ones:

- Based on my own handicapping, from extensively analyzing both fighters to mind-numbing degrees...I've determined that this fight should have money line odds closer to 3:1 for Mayweather. Yet, the current betting odds are closer to 2:1. This makes it quite possibly the most lopsided value pick in the history of boxing. It's certainly the most in my personal experience of handicapping boxing.

- Betting trends back this up. Although a similarly equal amount of money is being wagered on both fighters, the "smart" money is on Mayweather. Based on some insider sources of info, close to 9 out of 10 bets are made on Pacquiao, while only about 1 out of 10 bets are made on Mayweather. Yet, the 10% who bet on Mayweather is enough to balance out the 90% of bets made on Pacquiao. This kind of outrageous ratio is quite unprecedented! Casual bettors wager on Pacquiao. Professional bettors make their smart wagers on Mayweather.

- Based on the inside information from those who understand and have experienced boxing, the consensus on Mayweather is clear. I've researched and also personally spoken countless people who are involved in the sport, and the consensus from those who know boxing overwhelmingly agree that Mayweather is the the correct bet to make.

Obviously, there's no such thing as a sure-fire guarantee that Mayweather will win. But based on my extensive and comprehensive analysis, I am completely convinced that Mayweather is the correct value bet to make in this fight (and it's by a big margin!)

I haven't received an email from him yet proclaiming that there is a bet. I have not bought his system so I won't get the play. He's probably patting himself on the back for sending out the Mayweather pick. Yeah I'm sure he's pretty nervous about the Philly play because if it loses it'll cost his imaginary bankroll over $200,000 dollars....lol

I thought for a demo play the opponent had to be similar competition within a range of +105--140 or something like that. This would mean philly would not qualify. Any thoughts?

You are absolutely correct. I missed that. Had too much going on today and forgot about that qualifier. Thanks for catching that and I hope no one loses any money over it because of the mistake.

No, it has to be 3 consecutive games with at least 3 runs or more over or under the total for it to be a play. I know Oakland has played 8 games in a row to the over but the first 5 games were broken up by totals that did not meet that 3 run criteria. Therefore they did not become a play until 05/03. They pushed on that game and now will reset to another (A) bet on 05/04. Hope this helps. Post #14 in this thread has the rules.

There is a Demo.Lisher play today. For real this time. I screwed up yesterday and didn't pay attention to the line and posted Philly as a play. Well, to anyone who bet it, congrats because we got lucky and they won and if you didn't bet it, well you weren't supposed to. The "Champ" will probably add this one to his record and not tell anyone because technically it wasn't a play....lol. Just flat no chase. Champ says to bet 20 to 25% of roll but I wouldn't even consider that much until we see how it performs. He claims record is 3-1 but it is really only 2-1.
