I'm getting worried about these dogs. They are starting to hit so I'm wondering should we start backing them. On the other side the lock picks are no longer winning so perhaps we should start to fade as luck starts to even out ?

Good question that I don't know the answer to. The faves still have a good record, 40-22, but like you say they are shakey. We got absolutly hammered taking the dogs for the first year ever. I think I am just going to try to play it safe with the faves and try to get them back to 70% by the end of the year. Hopefully the faves swing back again. What a year this has been.

Ali is still doing well with the faves, her winning % is better than mine. She is gonna finish the season strong, I think.

I have a question, I dont follow baseball at all so gotta ask. Do you bet faves that need wins asap? I mean in a wild card race or playoff spot etc?.

My strongest leans are Jays and Cards too guys.
Leaning More To Take Jays -1. I can't see Braves winning the series and pitching favors Jays...they tend to win by more than 1 each time they win, but I have gotten burned a time or 2 taking the RL.

We are trying to bet live teams (teams that have not been eliminated) hoping that they are motivated to make the playoffs. You know a little more what to expect, although these teams are losing their share of games, too. If a team can't make it in we try to stay away.

Alamo, I'd say take the faves from here on out. The dogs have just turfed it this year, we have never had a year like this. When we take the dogs we lose, and when we fade them we lose although fading the dogs has been profitable the last few months. When I add the dogs that I have taken along with the faves, I mean WTF? I am still down roughly $380 for the year. At one point, for a day, I actually showed a tiny profit for the year, now I'm in the hole again. Both Ali and I are gonna try to end with the faves above 70%, we feel if we could do this we could possibly break even for the year. The damn dogs killed us.

Alamo, whoever you are you are a good person to hang in here. This has been our first loser of a year. It's a humbling experience.

Lot of line movement last night so I stayed away....would have won.
Tonight I bet Rangers since price came down...just the way it has been this year.
Also bet No Score 1st in Nats game...got it at -145 before it shot up to -165.
2-0 after 2 batters. Was contemplating Under 3.5 1st 5 for -120 and it hits...when it rains it pours.
Well hopefully LAD and SF win tonight and Under 7 hits or pushes in LAD...always look for the silver lining even though a dark cloud over my head since nhl season ended.

No, 16kredit, it's us who wants to thank YOU. With as bad as year as we have had, there were 200,000 clicks looking at these picks. As bad as the picks ended up being, the bettors who dropped by here were awesome like usual. No trolling, no whining (although everyone had a good enough reason), just bettors trying to help bettors cash tickets which was the only reason we were here. Good luck going forward, 16kredit. Great thread gang. Enjoyed looking for your daily plays. Many days I was on the same plays as you. Hadn't played a full season for some time due to leaving the state, but nice to get some input from "locals" once I returned. September is wearing me out, so I'm gonna stop playing until playoff time while I got some roll left. Too much mailing it in going on in MLB right now IMO.
