for some reason I feel like WS and divisional and conference odds are so stale this year - a lot of middle of the road to good teams that are driving prices to more of an even level.

I actually talked myself into Cleveland to win the division but now at +190 I am passing ... situations like that every where.

St Louis +102 (1u) - sticking with wainwright on opening night. Many will be on Cubs and think this is some huge game with their revamped team. If wain has his strike out pitches on, he could rack up the Ks tonight. That is going to be said alot against this Cubs team. They may end up being a good team, but often time takes some growing pains. I think they are a year or 2 or 3 away yet... takes time with young talent - the rewards that the pirates are reaping now.

Thanks coiner - yeah, I was a tad confused about the line. Glad it didn't scare me away. Both teams had plenty of chances to get that game over too, glad the bats were put stymied with RISP.

I would say it should be -120 or -130. ATL's offense only has two hitters who are above average, Freddie Freeman and Markakis. Alvarez is probably league average or slightly better.

We need to stay disciplined! haha it's a long season, man. I've been grinding out profits the last few years partially because I make so many bets that I probably don't need to; I'm raising my bet size a bit this year and need to try limiting my plays so i don't go broke.

I like Cole against Leake today. Leake is nowhere near the same pitcher on the road and I think Cole isn't getting enough love. I am worried a tad about Pirates being slow out of the gate with all of the excitement this year.

I like Koehler to write the ship here. Forced the play on Miami yesterday and hopefully I am not doing it again, I just think Miami is a superior team... play wouldn't be too crazy... line seems a bit low though, although Miamis bats have not shown up.

I most likely will be fading Giants again. Their staff is not that good and it shows with Heston being a near dog against the DBacks.
