I waited for the public to start hitting the A's. Lester is a big game pitcher, but so is Shields. Shields lives for these moments. I believe in the KC momentum here. If it wasn't for Seattle melting down in Toronto, Oakland wouldn't be here. I think it will come down to a late clutch hit for KC. In the send I believe Somewhere ace speeds will be saying "I told you so" Oakland was 10-20 down the stretch. This KC team deserves a series after 29 years of no playoffs. Oakland had their chance.

The line seems right, Volquez is 32 years old and finally finding that form he had a few years back when he was a Allstar. Baumgartner is going for SF, he is very solid as well. I have also witness baumgartner shaky in the playoffs as well though. Pittsburg has greater hitting stats at night than SF... They have better pitching numbers at night than SF, and the hit lefties well. Madison has won both matchups vs Volquez but I feel the opening line was a bait line on SF. SF has been clutch over the last few years in positions like this but I don't feel like this is the same team this year.
