I'm siding with the under 4.5 runs here because Oakland has only scored more than 4 runs 1 time in the previous 9 games they have played. Ever since the A's made that trade for Lester, they have had hard times scoring runs. The stats in August and September speak for themselves. Martinez is going for Texas today. He's lefty and he's also pitched better recently. The pressure is on the A's big time to win today. The books are laying a huge line on Texas. Either they are trying to sucker the public into a all in play on oak, or perhaps Oakland wins 2-0 type deal. Look most teams get hot for maybe 5-15 games. The A's were hot for the past 2-3 years giving everyone that expectation that they are the best team out there. I think Oakland overall is a average .500 club that has played way over their heads the past couple of years. They have pitchers, but their hitting is subpar.
