This is not a back tested system, but a live experiment on betting totals following the juice my book offers. I am basically betting 80% of the games for which ever side of the total has the highest juice using a simple money management strategy that I have found profitable over the last few weeks. I generally have a very busy work schedule so I can not guarantee this thread will run smoothly or have timely updates. However, I do believe we can all make a pretty penny with this money management strategy.
You all have heard of the labby and martingale system before, well this is a hybrid of the two that allows you to bet all your games with out going too large. I will use a $10 unit size for this experiment and if it goes well, I will run a thread next season with a larger unit size. Oh the system basically works like this:
Day 1: always risking the amount and not betting to win, just a matter of comfort for me. You would risk $10 every game for whichever side the highest juice is on. If its a winning day on day 2 you would keep your bet size the same. If its a losing day you simply increase your bet size half a unit so on and so forth until you reach a peak profit. If it ever gets out of hand I will cap my biggest bet at 5u per game or $50 for this experiment and except the loss and reset it back to $10. In theory it should almost never get that high. I would advocate a 200 unit bankroll for this because there is so much action.
For anyone that is good at data mining something like this I more then welcome it because a manual back test would just take FOREVER! Which is why I am doing a live experiment with a small unit size. Oh if both sides of the game are -105 or -110 meaning equal to each other I skip the game.
