Yes, I update daily in the evening after games are over. For favs we bet the line to win a unit. We bet one unit on every dog.

hi everyone

just a heads up if you all don't mind, we would like to add our dog picks to the thread and then next year do them together in one thread as well at the beginning of the season.

Other than the under umpire games, we bet nothing but dogs. This year they have done really well. Our record right now is 102-86-1 +27.99u 54.3% with the twins game pending at +138. In addition to the twins, we took:

Marlins +108 1u
royals +100 1u
twins +138 1u pending.

Remember with dogs you occasionally go on losing streaks. This is unavoidable. However, you don't even need to win 50% to turn a decent profit. We have bet them for two years now and can't even imagine taking a favorite and won't in this thread. Feel free to just observe or try betting .50u to begin with. Like with unders we bet these dogs for a unit, just straight flat bets.

I think you made a mistake, subtracting way too many units from that 1 play. You should have more! I had forgotten to figure the juice on the unders and was correcting it back then and I must have done a typo. So I'll just leave it (it should have been +18.18u on 31st). Sorry.

And with the under umpires by following GiL on SBR last year, I had pretty much figured a basic idea how he was doing them by looking at a lot of factors. So here's to a good finish for the season.

Like we have said, "we have had a fairly good season although the dogs are hard to lose and SBR has given us so much, so we are just "Paying it forward".

Lets hope for continued success.

how do you chosse your dogs ??

We look at dogs who have a better pitcher for one thing. Any team in MLB can go on a hitting terror, virtually any team can hit, even San Diego. We compare the batting averages of all the players on both teams against both pitchers. You can have a good hitting team that for some reason just can't hit a particular pitcher. When you find a dog that matches up well with the opposing pitcher, that's half the battle. Also, going against either winning or losing streaks is not a good thing. You gotta look at bullpens, we have lost a lot of games in the ninth inning. It's almost the time of year where we are considering taking the first five innings.

Most important, stock up on valium or tequila. You lose a ton of games with these dogs, but if you stick with dogs only you are gonna come out ahead in the long run. Try the dogs out, get a medical check up before you do this and make sure your heart is healthy enough. Shoot for a 50% winning percentage. Enjoy the ride.
