#807Funnyman, I'm not usually this optimistic but this system with dogs is totally proven as far as we go. You have to have a large sample size before you can even think in these terms. We have now bet over 1,200 dogs using this in the past three years and are still at 50%. And, we'll do some totals. We were at over 60% with these last year, a $100 bettor would have picked up over $2,000 being those totals, but the dogs is where our heart is.Originally posted by funnymanLove the optimism.Eagerly awaiting the season start.
We are just gonna have one thread, we had two last year by accident, it got confusing as hell. Look for a thread pretty quick in the baseball forum with a title similar to ALI & HAYDUKES BASEBALL PICKS, or something similar, then HANG ON, because I know we're gonna be cashing a ton of tickets. In our new thread we'll lay out exactly how we are gonna roll. Money management is gonna be key. We have been looking forward to this since we went 6-1 in the series last year. It's time.Comment -

 Hi Everyone,
We are shaking a little bit of rust off by tracking spring training games since yesterday. Not all of the filters are there yet but the few we have to use gave us five games (STL +105-lost, NYY +100-won, TB +105-push/tie, SD +110-won, LAA +100-lost) yesterday that went 2-2-1. Today there are four games (Mia +100-lost, Pitts +105-won, Bos +100-won, and CO +110 is still pending).
Things look promising. Keep in mind we're not betting real money.
Have a super weekend.
Ali & Hayduke

#811I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to get email or text alerts when Mitch51 posts to his new baseball thread. This way members following his plays don't have to constantly check sbr to see if a play was posted. Similar to a tweet on Twitter. Mitch51, do you tend to list the plays of the day in one thread(listing) or do you add plays throughout the day?Comment -

#812We are going to list games one time in the morning for the most part. On occasion we'll throw in some later games, we tell you that in advance though. We do everything possible to make these easy to bet and to give you as much time as possible. Last year, people were handicapping from our picks screening some out. That's great. Everyone was helping everyone. And there will be only one thread instead of two like there were last year.Originally posted by WoodyI was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to get email or text alerts when Mitch51 posts to his new baseball thread. As soon as our thread goes up, click on notification by e-mail, we did that on a thread or two last year. It works great.Comment -

Yesterday went 3-1 with Co winning. So far 5-3-1 or +2.25 tracking units.
Today's tracking games are:
ATL +120
TB +105
MIN +110
MIA +100
CLE +110
Be watching for the new thread to start in a few days so you can get use to the new one.
Enjoy your day

That is one of the filters we don't have right now. We're just gearing up and getting ready for the new season and so all the filters are not there.
No betting is done right now but thought you could see what it could do in spring training for tracking purposes.
Hope this helps.

#818Mitch,
I suppose that because these are exhibition games the books pretty much grade them close to even. I would think going 50% for the season on dogs you would have to average at least +125 to make good money.Am I getting this right?
Never have anticipated the start of baseball season like this one.Glad you are showing us a preview of things to come.Comment -

#819If you averaged +125 with our record of 186-186 with the dogs last year you would have made $4650. That's an obscene profit. It's why we love the dogs. We probably averaged around +115 or so and made plenty of units. Dogs rule.Originally posted by funnymanMitch,

#823The unders were based on handicapping umpires. We are going to cap our totals a little different this year. We didn't split up the totals between favs and dogs. We were 61% on our totals. Are you thinking of doing two-teamers with dogs-totals? Not sure I follow you.Originally posted by grey areaWas looking into your under total work and was wondering if you have the numbers on the win ratio for underdogs in games you have bet under in.Comment -

#824Just something I noticed over the years that more of the games I have bet dogs tend to go under the total
