He just whipped out his DONG and shoved it in you the wrong way. AKA - opposite field homer.

I would think most Tiger backers need them to win by more than 1 today.
          I have them -1.
It has been about 2 years since Sanchez won at home by just 1 run...would be my luck if it happened today.

That's exactly what he is. I like what he brings to the table, but let's call a spade a spade.

I don't know - personally I'd never bet -1 or -1.5 on a home team in baseball. In no other sport do you get guaranteed fewer possessions or does only the 1st run (or point) count if you score in a tie breaking scenario. That's on top of the team's interests not meshing with yours (surrendering luxury run by playing infield back, only caring about winning by one run).

Taking the +1.5 makes a ton of sense for road teams though. And you can say these considerations are baked into the line, but I still hate it.

Dude, he was cut by the Astros and signed to a minor league deal. Again, he's a solid guy to have on your roster. Let's just leave it at that.

Good point, but if you truly looked deep into this game, -1 makes the most sense given fact that Tigers pound the opposition when Sanchez wins and you don't have to lay the heavy juice in case it loses...In no way is this game today a lock.

Excellent observation. ML was the only way to go, if dared to bet that much juice. Glad Stanley won ( I think) but you are correct, the Tigers should have laid the lumber to these guys. All streaks end, hope the Red Sox start their own, I just don't think it will be tonight. BOL men.

Mag. I don't get paid enough by sportswriters to be laying that kinda juice (-160)...we have been down this path before on how much it puts me down if I lose...like the Heat ML (-200) in Game 3 that slammed us in the nuts.
