This is best chance for Tigers this series. I agree they win, but just can't pull trigger.
Maybe I'll take KC Under.

I don't see Detroit getting swept @ home. I know KC has been hot. Sanchez pitching. I don't know if I would hammer it, but I also am taking Detroit to pull away from this funk they are in.

Tigers are 3-7 in Sanchezs last 10 starts as a home favorite.
Royals are 6-2 in Duffys last 8 starts as a road underdog.
You guys backing tigers today are literally about to stand in front of a train!! GL tho everyone.

Another thing that favors Tigers is Sanchez has been the guy to stop the bleeding during Tigers ruts. Twice before I backed Sanchez and he was $$...maybe not as confident in this one...still contemplating...all I see aside from Oakland and Milky is some good Unders.

I just look at the Royals usual lineup - these are the same guys that have been completely impotent for large swaths of the season. Granted they're on fire right now and Detroit's stacked lineup has been impotent instead lately. Still feel like on a getaway day for the Royals with Detroit having superior starting pitching (on paper) and superior lineup (on paper) and being overdue for a win it's a fair line and they find a way.

You don't think that Kinsler, Cabrera, Martinez, Martinez, and Castellanos are better than Butler, Hosmer, Cain, Escobar, and Gordon?
Not even addressing the power aspect, the batting averages alone are leaps and bounds better for Detroit. Didn't include Hunter since we're talking about this series in particular.
I'd take Kinsler and Cabrera over any other 1/3 hitter combo in baseball. Maybe Reyes/Bautista for Toronto, Gomez/Braun for Milwaukee would be close or Pagan/Posey for the Giants (almost included Bmore but I"m not a davis fan)

Did you just include JD Martinez and Nick Castellanos in an argument for Detroit being a better offense?

JD Martinez is swinging a hot bat this series.
6 for a 11, 2 dingers and a double.

Ummm…. Martinez has a higher average and OBP than all but ONE Royals starter. Castellanos has been one of the better Tigers hitters over the past month. Not sure if serious or if you even watch your own team.

Martinez isn't an everyday player.
Castellanos should still be in the minors, and would be if Detroit had any alternatives at third.

He's had a good series. He's a solid fourth OF on a contending team.

Detroit fans crack me up. Castellanos should be in the minors? You do realize that the Yankees and Red Sox are starting the likes of Brian Roberts and Stephen Drew in their infield on a regular basis, right?
Ask the Yankees if they'd rather JD Martinez or the corpse of Alfonsio Soriano playing outfield for them every other night.
You guys are so spoiled and don't come close to appreciating how awesome your team is. Sure they tend to underachieve every regular season but they're in the ALCS every damn year and pick it up when it matters the most. I mean your city is 1/100th the city of New York and 1/75th the city of Boston and Toronto, you're lacking the media deals that they have, and yet your rotation and lineup dwarfs each of theres (well not Toronto's lineup) and y'all are still miserable and griping if you don't win 75% of your games.
